Okay here is a post from Walk4MeWednesdays that I think we should take a look at:

I am going to be BRUTALLY honest here.

I ‘ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about this economy, and how bad it is. I also know that most people do not realize the position they are currently in. Most of the ballroom community have never thought about their future before, (other than how to become legendary) and have no clue just how bad off they are. How many of you are currently employed, have health and life insurance, a retirement tool. I’ll be willing to bet that most of us wouldn’t know what a 401k was, much less having one. This is not to sound cruel, but I think it is time for some of the lazy people/ illegal activity/people who are un-educated and scared to get it together.

This is not the time to try to skate by until things get better. Things are a long way off from getting better. Read the rest of this entry »

Taken from a post on Walk4meWednesdays:

POST-OMABA VIOLENCE & UNREST
Bianca Ex-Escada Evisu was allegedly attacked by Thaddeus, Mario, Keshawn, the Chanel’s & Prodigy’s at Tiana Milan’s Mini Ball this weekend reportedly because she mouthed off about certain judges chopping her kids. Reports say they bashed her repeatedly in the face and beat her like a “nigga on the street”. They also wanted to knock Mina Evisu who tried to break it up. Chicago’s newest resident, legendary Rodney Milan, stepped in to save the day.
Is the ballroom community a blow and embarrassment to Chicago? Have not Chicago very own Barack Obama’s affected this sector in a positive way? How will this latest incident be addressed? Can Rodney Milan use his legendary status to bring about change in Chicago? Did anyone call 911? Read the rest of this entry »

Reinvented 2: The Metallic War

Grand Prize:

BQ Runway ($500.00 + pot) The Clash of the Metallics: The Matrix has come to life. In this matrix, there are no houses, no titles, and no status. All we see are runway models wearing gold AND silver with a battle toy prop.

Ms. Escada USA ($250.00) This is not face, nor realness, nor sex siren. In this war, the nation is run by one-the Queen Bitch. When she snaps her fingers, everyone stops in their tracks. You will be judged on your presentation with a gold or silver crown on your head. We are looking for hair, nails, make-up, jewels, and a nasty gown. Refer to the Chicago Legends Ball if you need assistance.

BQ Vogue Fem ($200.00): “The Reinvention”-You must perform an old move, then reinvent it with something new. That will seal your 10’s.
